A big challenge with improving your skills is that there is a lot to work on, and you can only really focus on one thing at a time.
A result, you need to be really careful and really selective with what you choose to work on.
In the next few posts, I'm going to give you simple cues that make a big difference.
#1. Hide the breath
Many triathletes struggle with their breathing.
The breath is too big and the breath is too long.
This is a big problem because a big, slow breathing really disrupts your alignment.
It causes the hips to sink and your shoulders and hips to shift side to side.
The solution?
Try to to hide the breath by making it as small and as fast as possible.
This will help keep you in the rhythm of the stroke, and it will keep everything in line, which will keep you swimming fast!
This is a great exercise to help you learn how to do so!
